The Western Sydney Supportive and Palliative Care Services provide holistic care to people living with a life limiting illness. The focus is on optimising their quality of life and personal goals for the time they have left.
The Palliative care service provides patient care close to home and in a comfortable setting providing the opportunity for patients to spend time with family.
Volunteers are also present to assist patients with telling their life story/biography to leave a legacy for their family, or simply assisting them in creating a memory box with their children, or it simply could be enjoying the visits from the Therapy Dogs.
The Palliative care teams work to ensure that the holistic goals of care for the patient and family are met by addressing the individuals physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs.
All gifts large and small make a meaningful difference. Donations will go to the Supportive and Palliative Care Services including Mount Druitt and Auburn Palliative Care Units.
