Storr Liver Centre
The Storr Liver Centre aims to understand the molecular and cellular mechanisms that drive liver diseases and liver cancer, with the ultimate goal of developing effective preventive strategies or treatments that cure the disease.
How your donation will help
Westmead Hospital's Storr Liver Centre covers a wide range of activities related to the research and treatment of liver diseases from bench to bedside, including patient focussed and basic laboratory studies.
Your donation can assist in providing better treatments for patients with liver diseases, including viral hepatitis, fatty liver disease, liver fibrosis (scarring) and liver cancer, research into liver disease prevention and management, as well as outreach programs for vulnerable members of the community who would otherwise not attend a health service.
