In Loving Memory of Darko Vujovic
25/06/1961 - 14/05/2022
Darko was a loving, fiercely loyal and devoted family man who focused on the simple things in life such as spending time with family and being devoted to his friendships. He was always a hard worker and as many would know he couldn't help but be up for a joke or laugh. Although he was a serial joker, he loved deeply.
Two years ago, Darko was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer called Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm (BPDCN) out of the blue, following a skin rash. Within a few weeks he started treatment at Westmead Hospital where he was predominantly treated in Ward C5A.
Despite his phobia for hospitals, Darko became comfortable and trusted the ward during the two-years he spent there. He battled with such strength, determination, and his ever-present humour over the last two years.
You can make a donation In Memory of Darko Vujovic. All donations will go to Westmead Hospital's Ward C5A - Cancer Care Centre.
