Dr Sonali Munot

Dr Sonali Munot is an early career researcher who recently completed her PhD in public health from The University of Sydney. Her thesis was related to understanding barriers in community response to out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA), implementation, and evaluation of strategies to engage the community – with a focus on NSW multiethnic communities.

As a recipient of the Brenda Myrtle Grech Heart Research Award from the Foundation, Dr Munot hopes that her Ready2Revive project makes CPR education more accessible to the community.

"Don't be afraid to have a go. Anything you do is better than nothing" Dr Munot states, "You can still save a life without the creditation."
